At ISR, we believe the strength of our organization is a product of the diverse background, work experience, and perspective of each ISR Instructor. Though the members of our team vary in background and experience, we are united by the sole driving force of our mission, Not One More Child Drowns.

Our ISR Self-Rescue® Method was labeled as radical, and we received mixed press coverage of ardent support as well as criticism. We held true to our technique, its foundation in the behavioral sciences, and the idea that if parents were shown that their children could be safely and effectively taught to save themselves, and that these “survival swimming lessons” lead to a lifetime of safety and enjoyment of the water, ISR would grow and people would take note.
